We have been busy here in 2020! Despite the Pandemic "Alma" One Shining Fleetwing Star obtained her CKC Trick Dog Intermediate title and "Harry" Fleetwing's Hey Good Lookin' was Best of Breed at all the shows held by the Miramichi Kennel Club in NB. He also got his championship in style by placing 3rd in the very large Sporting Dog Group and he made the cut another day at these shows. He is a dog who LOVES to show, a real ham!! Harry is the number 3 Flat Coat in Conformation in Canada for 2020!!!! YAY HARRY!!! He is also one of two top owner bred Flat Coats as well! Harry is out of Ingrid and sired by Remus. In 2021 Harry will be doing obedience and agility with some field work added too.
Here is a pic of Alma with her Trick Dog Intermediate neck scarf at Kedgie Park this summer. She is a stunning and very sweet and smart girl who is now training for Open obedience doing retrieve over high jump and broad jump as well as scent discrimination. She loves to work! She will be bred in 2021 with puppies available for special people.

ReplyDeleteWe are currently looking at adopting a dog. We've raised 4 Goldens in our past 30 years in our marriage. Our red Golden Breesha died in December. We still have our other Golden, Sam who is 8 and is very lean, fit. We live on English Oaks Drive, Lequille. Do you have any upcoming litter? Could we drop by sometime if so? We are unfamiliar with flat coated retrievers but I think Verner Gamborg in Clementsvale has one. Thanks, Kathleen and Erwin Boyce Mueller
