3 month old update

Hi All,
I have been rather slack on posting ..very busy and still have the Orange Boy "Rok-It" here till the weekend and then off to his new home in Virginia. I have no idea how I dealt with all those puppies earlier, of course Ingrid did alot of it..what a good Mom!
Rok-It is a going concern! He has been a joy and I will really miss him alot when he goes. But it has also been much work bringing along a young puppy. He is going okay on lead now, knows sit, come and retrieves like a pro ..in the house. He is also very much used to travelling in a plastic and metal crates in the van for extended periods of time. Recently he met face to face with my very big horse...no nervous shaking, instead it was a fiercely wagging tail the whole time. Goliath was very curious and very good with him too..Nose to nose and each sniffing the other. too bad I had no camera person.
Today it is very hot here and I am hoping to get him to the lake to just check it out.
By now pups will have had their second shots, be on heartworm med and still having monthly wormer and growing like weeds! They should all be in the mid twenty pounds range re weight. And....having their toe nails trimmed weekly ( very important) This is a bad year for tick in Nova Scotia so those of you who live here please keep and eye on your puppies and remove ticks to prevent Lyme Disease, esp those living in the Halifax area where the bad ticks are rampant.
re food ..keep feeding three times a day and up the amount a bit as they grow.
It is not uncommon for puppies to get puppy acne..looks like little pimples on their skin around the mouth and nose area, not usually treated unless the little pimples get infected.
What else..still waiting on papers to come here so that I can make out all the info on the individual pups..If you have not chosen a name and want to please let me know..( also please remind me as I may have forgotten what name you wanted.)  28 letters including spaces starting with Fleetwing or Fleetwing's.
All for now!

A Boy and his Dog

This is "Pepper" who was the Yellow Boy. Here he is enjoying a lakeside adventure with his boy in Halifax.

Flat Coats are very well known for sleeping in very strange positions. In fact there is a FB page called Flat Coats Sleeping Upside down. This pic exemplifies what that page is all about. So cute!
Pepper going nicely on lead but rememeber even at this age a. puppy walks on your left always and b. I know it was for the picture but if puppy is lagging do not look back as that will cause him to lag even more always think forward. What a lovely avenue with leafy shade tree shadows too!

Tucker

This is "Tucker" ( who used to be Green Boy) He lives in Bedford and is going to be a great retriever and show dog we hope. Here he is with his canine and human buddies. Getting ready for the prom is much more fun with dogs!
