So here it is Feb, 9th, 2025 and sadly this is the first post here since???? Updates.. The Big one is that the Nova Scotia Flat Coated Retriever Society of Canada 'FCRSC' hosted the 2024 National FCR Specialty in the Halifax area and "Alma" Ch. One Shining Fleetwing Star ITD CGN ATT was awarded "Select Bitch and "Poppy" Ch. Fleetwing's Magic Charm  was awarded "Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed!!!! The judges were Flat Coat well known breeders from the UK too which was very special! to be continued!!!

PUPPIES EARLY NOVEMBER 2022 WITH "ALMA" AND "ODIN"

Recently we took a little trip to New Hampshire to breed  "Alma" Can. Ch One Shining Fleetwing Star (and 5 point major in US) Previous to this we were at the US FCRSA National Specialty Show in Indiana where Alma was 1st in open bitch class and her singleton puppy Mrs. Darcy  Fleetwing's Singular Sensation was also first in 12-15 month old class!!  Back to recent news. Hoping we had a successful breeding with Alma and "Odin" Am. Ch. Calzeat  Braveheart From Valhala JH  with puppies due early November 2022!!!! Inquiries accepted. and application form available.

First I would like to congratulate our lovely and sweet 2019 puppy Fleetwing's Magic Charm for taking Best  of  Breed at all 4 shows in Truro, NS in  the fall of 2021! "Poppy" is a lovely girl and moves like a dream. She is sired by well known Ch. Fleetwing's Force of the Moon WC. better known as "Tide" and out of Ch. Group placer Fleetwing's Fly Me To The Moon " Brannagh".

As well we had a very special win at the same shows pictured here when 5 month old Fleetwing's Singular Sensation   ie "Darcy" was Best Baby Puppy in Show!!!! What an honour! "Darcy" is out of One Shining Fleetwing Star "Alma" and is sired by BISS Ch. Brightmoor Snow Patrol "Whistler".  
 The judge's comment was "such a lovely puppy!"

We have been busy here in 2020! Despite the Pandemic "Alma" One Shining Fleetwing Star obtained her CKC Trick Dog Intermediate title and "Harry" Fleetwing's Hey Good Lookin'  was Best of Breed at all the shows held by the Miramichi Kennel Club in NB. He also got his championship in style by placing 3rd in the very large Sporting Dog Group and he made the cut another day at these shows. He is a dog who LOVES to show, a real ham!! Harry is the number 3 Flat Coat in Conformation in Canada for 2020!!!! YAY HARRY!!! He is also one of two top  owner bred Flat Coats as well!  Harry is out of  Ingrid and sired by Remus. In 2021 Harry will be doing obedience and agility with some field work added too.

 Here is a pic of Alma with her Trick Dog Intermediate neck scarf at Kedgie Park this summer. She is a stunning and very sweet and smart girl who is now training for Open obedience doing retrieve over high jump and broad jump as well as scent discrimination. She loves to work! She will be bred in 2021 with puppies available for special people.

Our sweet girl Alma.. One Shining Fleetwing Star had great success in new England at a few shows in 2019 at the age of 1 year. At her first show she was Reserve winners at the Northeast Flat Coated Retriever Club Supported Entry in Greenwich, Ct. and a few weeks later in Springfield, Ma. she was Best Of Breed over 21 Flat Coats including 16? champions for a 5 point Major. She also gained 6 more points taking Winners at the rest of the shows that weekend. Here she is pictured getting the 5 points.

Here is our grand senior boy age 14!!! Ch. and multi Group Placer Fleetwing's Great Expectations out of Ch. Grousemoor Fleetwing Mirabelle and sired by Ch. Hihill I Got It Goin'  His sister Gauss Ch. Fleetwing Curvas Gauss just passed away the end of 2018.  "Gauss had one litter sired by UK Rainsegift Over The Moon aka "Remus" which produced "Tide" Multi Ch. BPIS Gr. Ch AKC CKC Fleetwing's Force of The Moon. Tide has been a consistent sire of quality puppies in USA and Canada

It has been a very busy time here with 9 puppies! No posts since before they were born so I must catch up here with some pics.
